Description and solution:
Universal Teleconnect is an ITSP (Internet Telephony Service Provider) of the United Kingdom.
Our first project was also one of the first VoIP implementations in Iraq after the war. We've used VSAT (satellite) technology, Cisco AS5300 and 4 x E1 for R2 E&M signalling (120 channels).
We've helped at the initial installation and interconnection with various telecom companies in the world.
For the next 5 years we were the technical department for UT administrating Cisco, Quintum and Linux equipment as well as hosted soft switch platforms. We've implemented GnuGK technologies (for H.323) and Asterisk (SIP) for various utilization scenarios.
Our responsibility area included equipment in the United Kingdom, Iraq, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, used for call ending services for customers in the whole world.
